Downtown Greensboro on a February Morning
I woke up late this morning and went out to grab some coffee and was pretty pleased with some of the photos I got downtown. This really isn’t very much of a blog post, but I haven’t written anything in a bit so I wanted to share them.
Lots of things have been happening lately — one is that I finally bit the bullet and bought the 35mm prime lens I’d been wanting. Most of the pics below were taken with it, and I’m very pleased with them. I think the lack of zoom will help me learn more about my camera and become a better photographer, and I’m very pleased with the wider aperture I can get with it.

Anyway, I hope you’re all keeping your heads up during the pandemic. Matt & I are eagerly looking forward to the day we can both finally get vaccinated. We’re tentatively looking at taking a big trip in October, sort of a “latermoon” since we didn’t have the money to do a real honeymoon when we got married. I’m cautiously optimistic that we’ll be able to go, though we haven’t booked anything but the hotels yet in case we need to push it back.
